I love the old black and white films. It's interesting to note the difference in how things are said and presented when watching the outstanding classic, Twelve O' Clock High, with Gregory Peck as compared to that same time period portrayed through the masterpiece series, Band of Brothers.
Nothing beats the real thing though. Here is actual American government footage from that time period, narrated by General Eisenhower's brother Milton, who was the head of the War Relocation Authority (WRA) that worked with the United States military to force American citizens into concentration camps in the desert. It's an amazing look at recent American history, and there are indications that the military may again be ordered to focus energies on American citizens within our borders, rather than solely on foreign forces.
