I ran across Tony's latest digital contributions recently and, well... I'm big enough to admit when I was wrong...
...which I am not doing here because this blog has been consistently right about that fascist Lindsey-Graham-understudy. Tony Carr has checked all the boxes (veteran status, Harvard Law stink despite his unimpressive intellectual ability, CIA/NSA adjacent status via the fascist "private" company known as Amazon) and he is writing some books on "leadership" to be published, while getting himself set up for what he's been angling toward for so long... To be the next Adam Kinzinger or Dan Crenshaw. They are the same people. They truly are. Political creatures, servants of power wearing gimp masks, eager to do the bidding of the elites in exchange for status and being told "you're a good boy" and adept at saying popular things to morons who fashion themselves reformers. They have the same quality that leads other "stars" to rise after a short trip into the back room with Harvey Weinstein...and they all possess the same acting ability.
Much as Elon Musk is so popular among "conservatives" and "libertarians" and "alternative" media types while he says one thing and does exactly the opposite. Tony, like Kinzinger or Crenshaw, is adept at advancing himself by saying things he doesn't believe to absolute fucking retards who likewise say things without actually caring about those professed values and while sporting a resume of complete un-principle and rationalized courage-lacking inaction. As a side note, after a decade with no issues under Jack Dempsey, my Twitter account was banned by Elon Musk for criticizing Kinzinger while he was a sitting member of Congress and my account was never re-instated. Never mind that Elon is all about free speech. The point is, liars and politicians and fascists are adept at getting morons to think they stand for X, while they stick not-X right up your ass.
Here is Tony Carr fluffing Adam Kinzinger by the way.
You'd expect brilliant writing from a Harvard Law graduate, even one who had to be educated by me (while he was in law school) that Thomas Jefferson didn't write the Constitution. But this paragraph from his blog post is just so sublime that I must quote it now:
The character Kinzinger displayed then has been on display ever since, and particularly over the past four years. He has broken with his party time and again to speak out against Donald Trump’s various antics, but most of all the the rampant misinformation, outright lies, and crackpot conspiracy theories promoted by Trump and his following.
I listened to Tony Carr run his yap recently as he's on his little "life coach" media circuit thing that simply exists as a warm up while making moves to further disgrace public office now that he's done working for Amazon, and I can tell you that he has not gotten better with time. He is absolutely full of shit, so completely plastic, and is obviously ready to be a controlled puppet member of our government to further destroy our nation and infringe on our rights all while telling us how American and how into liberty he is. Just as I knew he would be.
His efforts don't seem to be going very well for some reason. But it doesn't matter if they do or not. If he succeeds at getting to further dig into the carcass of America, he'll have to wait for all the other character-lacking vultures to have their He/Him fill before he can stuff his beak. Either way, they will feast with or without him.
The meal has already been served and is getting colder by the day.
So ... your reason for hating Tony Carr before was that he was going to run for office. Now that he hasn't run for office and moved overseas, your reason for hating him is ... he's going to run for office. I'm not following.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you a lot of the time, but never understood this one. Your resentment feels personal. Did this guy hit on your wife or something?
Given your stance on the Bill of Rights, it seems a little odd to hate someone for something they haven't done yet. But hey, it's your show. If he runs for office, I'll be back to admit I was wrong.
So you start off with a strawman claim that I hate him because he's running for office. Leaving aside that I've never claimed to hate him, I've certainly never claimed to hate anybody for seeking public office. That would be silly.
DeleteYou agree with me a lot of the time, you say, but have never understood this one. So, we can assume you've read this blog. You've been around. And yet you don't understand my criticism of Tony Carr? The guy I've blogged about for years on this very blog, and yet somehow you haven't been able to figure out my stance?
Try harder.
I thought "Adam Kinzinger 2.0" immediately upon reading the title of the blog entry. LOL.
