The district court ruled in the case, and its decision and reasoning can be read here.

  1. As a citizen and veteran this enrages me. I just donated some more money to fight these thugs. They need to read up on our Revolutionary history. They are too small minded to realize that someday they could be on the receiving end of this same BS. It would be very fitting if it happened. The sad part is that many of these thugs are former military themselves.

  2. Thanks for the donation Kevin. Much appreciated. It's an important suit that won't get much airtime since it didn't have any blood or even an arrest. But it's important because unless the district court is overruled, the protections the SCOTUS and Fifth Circuit go away in towns like Del Rio. These checkpoint rather than being limited and minimally intrusive, will no longer have to be. Americans will be stripped of their rights when they encounter them, to be at the mercy of federal agents who can lie, waste over a half hour of your time, and harass you at your place of employment for no reason at all, simply because they want to.

But the place to fight it is in the courts, and that's a hard fight, especially these days. But revolution is not the answer, and violence only brings outright tyranny. So this case is important. Thanks for your support.

  3. Why did you ask for $500,000 in damages for this incident?
